A mentor, educator, and forever student, Rana has more than 20 years experience in mind, body, and coaching practices. Rana's professional modeling career landed her multiple health and fitness magazine covers, advertisements, billboards, and national commercials. Her success was greatly enhanced by her fit body, healthy lifestyle, and outgoing personality. While pursuing her career in NYC & LA, she also competed in windsurfing and running races. Her passion for heli skiing, snowboarding, and long distance bicycle touring began at age 22. Yoga became the glue that protected her from injuries which began at age 21. She completed her first teacher training with the famous "Yoga Works" in Santa Monica, California in 1997. Since then she has completed additional teacher trainings with Eric Shiffman, Rod Stryker, Paul Grilley, and Anna Forrest. Her drive was ashtanga yoga and practiced this style regularly for 12 years!
Rana also completed a 500-hour massage therapy certification from Santa Monica Healing Arts College in 1996. Celebrity clients include: Madonna, Melanie Griffith, Rodger Clemmins, Phill Nevin, Tommy Armour, Don Johnson, and Daryl Hannah. Kristin Stevenson is owner of The Pilates Training Institute and co-owner of Steamboat Pilates and Yoga in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. She is a fully certified instructor, who has been teaching for 18 years with a background emphasizing rehabilitation and sports conditioning. Her clients have included world-class Olympic athletes to post surgical and acute pain patients. Her bachelor of Science/Kinesiology degree, former job as a University of Colorado athletic trainer, injury prevention educator for Italian cycling teams and international dancers in Italy summer sessions, as well as six years in a physical therapy clinic brings a well-rounded knowledge to assist clients of all levels. Her interests include skiing, soccer, running, and soon to be interests of triathlons, rock climbing, and surfing. As a former competitive ski racer she realizes the importance of a strong core and balanced muscles. She is also a former educator for The Physicalmind Institute and a frequent guest speaker to Pilates studios around the US. She has been published in Skiing magazine and her current research and creative programs involve kids and Pilates and the benefit of special needs children connecting to their core through creative exercise. She is a mom of two little crazy boys and currently resides in Oceanside where she is delighted to be a part of Agility Studio.
Kaitlin Cofer is a graduate of Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with a B.S. in Nutrition. She competes in Long Distance Triathlons and Marathons and will be competing in her first Ultra Marathon this summer 2012. Kaitlin has been teaching spin for over 4 years and the passion that she has for her road reflects in her teaching style. Kaitlin is from the Bay Area and moved to San Diego in 2011 and enjoys everything about Southern California, including the athletic atmosphere. Kaitlin's goal is to make everyone feel as if they achieved their goals after each class and learn that with a correct posture and drive, spin can be a great workout for an overall sound body and mind.
Beth started her path for yoga at a young age where she soon developed a passion for the practice. In early 2009, she received her Yoga Alliance 200RYT hot yoga teaching certification. She enjoys putting a unique twist on the traditional Hatha Vinyasa class which caters to anyone starting from the beginning level to those whom are more seasoned. This path of healing eventually led Beth into a Clinical Nutritionist Consultant Certification in 2010. On a continuous direction of education in this realm and the other fields that compliment it, Beth strives to deliver an uplifting experience that not only tones and cleanses the body, but also balances the mind.
Michelle began spinning at Soul Cycle in New York City 7 years ago. It sparked a passion and love for being on a stationary bike along with getting a serious workout done in 60 minutes. Michelle's philosophy is that this is your ride, she is just the tour guide. No matter what level of fitness you are, spinning is a fun and great way to be active and stay healthy. Michelle is certified through the Madd Dog Spinning program and continues to receive education and courses on creating the best spin experience possible.
Eden was energetically drawn to therapeutic body work nearly a decade ago. Working so closely with the body’s energy made her realize how important physical energy release was to the human body’s overall health, which is when she switched gears from solely massage therapy to personal training, cycling and yoga. Eden teaches a high energy spin class which incorporates interval training and floor work strength training, great for all abilities & fitness levels. Her interval intensive classes will create noticeable cardiovascular improvement with every workout. Additionally Eden teaches Vinyasa flow style yoga class, focusing on body awareness and breathing techniques, as well as strengthening and stretching your muscles creating a balanced happy body preparing you for the obstacles that may come off the mat.
